Tune into the soft and tranquil vibration of Nature at the Blue Doors, where your indelible journey of deep-creative exploration begins in the warm hospitality of our hosts, Pat & Janie - owners of the Blue Doors at Tenkiller. Their charming and artfully restored "casita motor court" is nestled at the southern end of one of Oklahoma's most scenic lakes, where the serenity of Nature, splashed in all her brilliant Autumn glory, can soothe even the most frazzled of nerves. A Cherokee namesake, Lake Tenkiller is reputed by artists and photographers, far and wide, for its picturesque bluffs (such as "Big Daddy") and stunning sunsets, making it a perfect setting to quiet the mind, be inspired, and develop a profoundly deeper connection to your higher creativity.

In the restoration of this 50's motor court, Pat and Janie have taken great care to preserve and improve this bio-diverse habitat, set on 120 lush rolling acres, complete with walking trails, wildflower meadows and an abundance of native wildlife. It's a veritable paradise for countless hummingbirds and butterflies waiting to escort your imagination into their world.

Aside from the additions of an organic garden, Zen garden, and rock masonry fire pits, there's also a state-of-the-art, outdoor kitchen, with a brick, wood-fired, pizza oven and a Brazilian Churasco for enjoying creative, culinary experiments and sharing stimulating conversation at the end of the day.

Artists, Sharon Irla will teach a beginner workshop in Old Master oil painting techniques; and Katherine Rackliff will be teaching Cherokee double-wall basketweaving. There will also be opportunities for Yoga (with Dena Coleman), meditation, and therapeutic massage (by Marnie Cope of Alive & Well Massage), to calm and ease you into your creative journey and help develop a profoundly deeper connection to your higher creativity.
